Oh hi!  ummm...I wasn't singing.  ummm...ok...well, welcome!  My name is Christy, and I rock this blog.  I'm a bit quirky, often random and I think I'm funnier than I am.  At least that's what my husband tells me.  I'm so excited to be a part of 5 Minutes for Mom's Ultimate Blog Party.  This is going to be a rockin' week!



I titled my blog "Just Thinkin'" because I'm one of those people who gets that blank stare going and answers the question "What are doing?" with "oh, just thinkin'".  So these are my thinkin' thoughts on paper.  or computer screen.  because really, who uses paper anymore?  It kills trees right?  or something like that...

I have only been blogging a couple of months, but I love it.  Like love it to the point of obsession.  I never imagined I would have this much fun writing.  I always considered English class to be one of my worst, but its amazing how easy the words flow when no one is grading you.  I love meeting other bloggers and laughing / crying / praying with them.

I tweet too.  Tweet, tweet, like a birdie mommy...the birdies goes tweet tweet ... i hear the birdie say tweet tweet ... i go talk to the birdie ... *shakes head* sorry, I channeled my two year old for a minute.  Yeah...follow me on twitter!  Isn't she cute!

I'm a wife to Andrew and mom to two wonderful girls.  Leah is 2.5 and is my little princess.  She walks on her toes out of choice and everyone comments on how she is a future ballerina.  We are entering the world of temper tantrums and potty training with her.  Audrey is my baby at 4 months old.  She just perfected the art of rolling from her back to her tummy.  Then she looks up like, wait, how did this happen?  I met my husband while in college at Auburn University.  We've been through the pastures and the rock fields with plenty more life left to live.

I currently work as a research assistant in an immunology lab.  One day I want to teach biology to high school students, and I'm starting online school to achieve this goal very soon!
