What to write...

What to write ...

What to write ...

I just can't think of anything ...

well, I could come up with some stuff, but I want to write something funny ... I think?

It's like a have writer's block ... or blog block ...

but not thinkin' block...

I'm still thinking, and I come up with some awesome ideas, but when I sit down at the computer it's like butterflies replaced my thoughts ... and then Leah chases the butterflies away

so, I think I'll share some pictures with you

I did laundry for Andrew on our trip and while it was drying I walked around main street Auburn and took pictures until my battery died ... so I'll share some of my pictures with you!

Welcome to Auburn Alabama ... the loveliest village on the plains
and home of one of the best cups of fresh squeezed lemonade
This cheerleader was outside a new downtown art store
Cheeburger, Cheeburger ... best place to get huge hamburgers and milkshakes
some things about downtown haven't changed
the sidewalks are full of art!
the Auburn seal
legend has it that if you want to graduate from Auburn, you can't walk over the seal until after you have your degree, it's just bad luck
the bell tower ... I like how you don't need a clock in Auburn
and it plays the fight song at noon everyday

These are just a few of the fun pictures I took on our trip.  Hope you enjoyed my blog block brain pictures...

  1. Great pics. I've never actually been to Auburn... we drove past once, and I remember the area looking very rural. I like small towns. :)

  2. Alabama is on the plains? LOL! Sorry, I'm from the upper Midwest and we consider the plains to be places like the Dakotas and Nebraska. Great photos!

  3. @Christy -- I'm sure you won't read this, but I'd email you ... if your email didn't say no-reply... but the nickname 'loveliest village on the plains' came from a poem written by Oliver Goldsmith in 1770!
