Sharin' the love pt. 2

I love all my friends!  Thank you for the awards!  Honestly it's hard for me to pick people to pass these along to, but really do want to thank the people who gave me the awards and pass their blogs along to all of you!

And finally, an award I just couldn't pass up.  Shell over at Things I Can't Say did actually give this award to me ... she gave it to everyone!  and I can't pass up a reason to put pictures of hot actors can I?

1. Shawn Spencer from Psych.  It's a comedy mystery drama on USA Network and makes me laugh out loud every time I watch it!  Shawn is the super smart, goofy main character.

2. Peter from Fringe.  I am totally going with one Shell had, but I agree!  He is smart and good looking, has a sense of humor and cares for his dad ... although right now he may be the end of the world!  ahhhh...can the season finale come fast enough!?!?!  oh yeah, back to Peter:

3. Jess from Gilmore Girls.  Yeah, so what the show is dated, but they still run the re-runs.  and it will always be my favorite!  For real!  (and no...I don't have the season's on DVD...I'm open for late b-day gifts).  I was one of the minority who loved Jess!  He was the super smart bad boy who broke Rory out of her shell and had a heart of gold even though he rebelled against everything.  and that one episode when she goes to see him, I totally wanted them to get back together!  oh, Gilmore girls ... I could write a whole blog on that show ;-)

4. Jeff from Community.  Did you see the show where Jeff didn't want to wear the shorts in pool class and he and the teacher ended up playing 'strip pool' and Jeff ended up in his skimpies?  uh huh ... 'nough said.

and if Jeff can't make it, I'm totally cool with Joel McHale from The Soup ... just sayin'

5. Dr. Chase from House.  He's a doctor, he's hot, he has an accent and he has a heart of gold. Sorry Cameron, I would totally forgive Chase for killing that evil dude.  Even though Chase is hot off a divorce...it wasn't his fault, I mean totally Cameron's fault.

Sharin' the love pt. 1

It's like the Grammy's over here on my blog today!  I'm feeling so loved that I just HAVE to pass it along to all of you!  Although I should do these sooner so that I'm not writing a book...

1. Why do you blog?

I was posting pictures like crazy on facebook, but my parents don't have facebook so I thought I'd start a blog so I could share pictures.  Then I got involved in Mama M's Valentine day blog hop and I was hooked!  I love it!

2. If you could have a do over what would it be?

Well ... how you handle mistakes define your life.  I really believe in that, but I guess I would have stayed in school an extra year and got my teacher's certification.

3. Warm weather or Cold weather?

Warm weather!!!!!!!!  Even though ... yeah you can put blankets and layers on in the cold, but I have yet to find a way to make my nose not cold

4. What is your ideal date night?

A nice dinner and a show ... like a ballet or musical, and then going to an upscale club or coffeehouse to just relax.

5. What is your favorite TV show?

oh, I have a few...most I watch On Demand or online b/c that's not what Leah wants to watch, lol!  Ok...here goes... 30 Rock, The Office, Community, Fringe, Lie to Me, House, Mercy (it got cancelled...i'm so mad!), and always and forever my favorite will be Gilmore Girls!

6.  If you were one of the desperate housewives or one of the real housewives from Bravo which on would you be?

I've never seen the show...I'll take suggestions on what you think!

7.  What is your biggest fear?
That someone in my family will die before me.

8. What is your favorite vacation spot?
Oh, I love so many for so many different reasons.  Theme parks rock b/c roller coasters are amazing.  The beach is wonderful because it's nice and relaxing.  I think the vacation spot I want to go to right now is the lake!  I love the lake, and the lake house my grandmother owns.  (hint, hint, mom...hint, hint)

9. Do you tell on your blog or are there things you refuse to blog about?
I don't think there's anything I 'refuse' to blog about, but I don't usually rant on stuff like politics and controversial stuff.  Although if you asked me, I would tell you what I think...

10. Have you read about Monkey on Momma's Pixie Dreams, if so are you praying for her or helping her in some way?
I have and it breaks m y heart!  I am definitely praying, and I also donated a prize to the Auction that Ian is hosting.  I am offering a personalized 8.5 x 8.5 classic scrapbook from my new company CaA designs.  I haven't had my 'grand opening' yet, but I really wanted to help where I could.  You can visit my website to learn more: CaA designs

I'm like famous!

Guess what?!?  I met Greg Giraldo!!!!!  I'm like famous, yall!  See:

 hehe...he even signed a DVD for me.  and I love my hubby for buying it for me and putting my name first, lol!  ...man, I need a tan...

I'm also famous because I got my first awards this weekend!  You love, me really do!  I'm so excited...oh yeah and humbled and all that other jazz you're supposed to say...blah, blah, screw it...I was so giddy I told my husband who thinks I'm crazy for blogging so much!

1. I can't spell worth crap...but if you've read my blog, then you probably already knew that.
2. I play piano.
3. I'm so anal about music (or my keyboard?) that I taught my daughter to play our keyboard with her fingers, not bang on it.  When her two-year friend came to play yesterday, and banged on our piano, I taught her to play with her fingers too.  There is no banging on our keyboard.
4. I play handbells, and I can read music (which is a rariety in most choirs)
5. I have an injury from ringing handbells...tendonitis in my wrist
6. I play trumpet, and no I don't have a huge ego
7. I'm a serial over-exaggerator.  It counts if you put 'like' in front of it...right?
8. I think I'm funnier than I really am.
9. I love corny jokes
    --Two muffins are in an oven.  One muffin turns the other and says, "It sure is hot in here."  The other muffin gasps and says "A talking muffin!"

1. I went to Hoover High School in Alabama
2. No, I don't know your cousin who went there too
3. There were people in my graduating class of over 700 that I didn't recognize the name when they walked across the stage.
4. Being in the marching band in high school makes you a dork...yeah I was a dork
5. I only dated guys in the band, lol!
6. My high school was featured on MTV two-a-days (after I left)
7. I had my first kiss in the courtyard during the Homecoming dance my freshman year
